I really liked using Coda as soon as I started, but there were a few challenges to overcome and a few Dreamweaver habits that had to be broken. It’s a really great piece of software. But, it’s also a little quirky in some respects, and I had a hard time getting used to the way it handles file and folder publishing. Maybe this is nothing new for lots of people, but here’s a tip on how to upload an entire folder, in-place, using Coda. It’s a bit of a kludgy workaround, but it does work, it’s quick, and you won’t have to go through all your folders making sure you didn’t miss anything.

Thank you!!
Couldn’t find anything about this on Coda’s website and it was driving me insane having to manually select every file in each specific folder so they would upload to the right place rather than the root.
It’s not great that you need a workaround for what is otherwise a flawless application.
Thanks! Great tip. This has been sooo confusing until now.
This issue has wasted a lot of my time so far. Let’s just hope Panic improves this workflow so that the workaround won’t be needed either.
Thank you! I’ve been using Coda for some time and this was my biggest problem. Very good tip! Thanks again!
Glad to help!
Thanks. Very helpful
