How to find interesting people to follow on Twitter

When it’s time to search for interesting people on Twitter, I’ve been using a method that I learned from Chris Penn that is really quite good, if a little complex in the middle. Recently, a friend of mine shared with me that the complex middle part is now unnecessary, and the whole process can be really simplified.

How to change back to “normal” retweets in Hootsuite

Let me just say that Hootsuite is awesome, and I usually don’t complain about new features. However, with the most recent update, they decided that by default, retweets should be Twitters “new” version. You know, the kind everyone seems to hate.

So, after taking a peek into the settings area, I found the way to change it back to normal, and thought I’d share that with you in a screencast.

A Rant About Narcissists and Obsessive Whiners

I’ve been seeing quite a few posts on Twitter and Facebook asking if Facebook is becoming boring. It’s easy to say yes without much consideration, but the more I think of the question, the more I realize that it’s not Facebook, it’s really the so-called friends who are making the experience boring. A Tweet New Home Page
